About the Event: The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act provide historic funding opportunities for local governments to invest in greenhouse gas reduction measures.Climate Action KC, in partnership with Black & Veatch and MARC, is pleased to bring this educational workshopto Kansas City area decision-makers and climate leaders. Participants will hear from Christopher Castro, the Chief of Staff for Office of State and Community Energy Programs at the U.S. Department of Energy and Andrew Wynne, Senior Advisor for Climate Change at the Environmental Protection Agency, on available funding programs, timelines, and technical assistance, among other topics.


This program is designed for Mayors, City Councilmembers, City Administrators, key government and city staff, climate non-profit executives, and corporate sustainability leaders.
